The fun-filled trailer is a good enough reason to watch "Welcome to Karachi", but there are a few more reasons why it's worth your time.

Arshad Warsi

This leading actor's comic timing is unmatched in Bollywood and he has always been spot on. Having done rib-ticklers like "Golmaal Returns"and "Dhamaal", one could trust him with such a role.

Lauren Gottlieb

This dancing star has been drawing a lot of attention ever since her "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa" days. And with the "Shakira" song, she has successfully raised temperatures to unimaginable levels. Playing an ISI agent in "Welcome 2 Karachi" would be a welcome change considering so far she has been offered such roles that did justice only to her dancing skills.

Jackky Bhagnani

Although he hasn't established a strong foothold in the industry, the actor sure earned quite a few fans with his earnest performance in "Youngistaan". The film may have tanked in the box office, but it did leave him with an opportunity to explore his acting chops. In the trailer, Jackky is unintentionally funny and speaks in accented Hindi, which should be interesting to watch.

India-Pakistan

The trailer shows that the makers are aiming at treating the age-old India-Pakistan issue with humour, which should work in the film's favour.

Location

Contrary to what one would imagine, the film was shot anywhere but Karachi. Bradford, Birmingham and Wales among others are some of the key places tapped by the filmmaker. What will be interesting to see is how believable they have turned the locations into.
