Salman Khan recently confirmed the making of Dabangg 3 and since then a lot is being said about the franchise on social media.
In a rare phenomenon, it is seen that Salman's own fans do not want Dabangg 3. Social media is being flooded with comments from Salman fans who are rather disappointed with the announcement.
They opined that Salman should stay away from such "masala" films, especially after he impressed the audience with his performance in critically acclaimed movies like Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan.
There are scores of tweets from fans who have been requesting the superstar to drop the idea of making the third installment of the franchise. Some even said that Salman is doing this film only to revive the careers of Sonakshi Sinha and his brother Arbaaz Khan. They said that the actor is ruining his potential and career for the sake of others.
In a nutshell, Salman lovers now wish to see the actor do more content driven films. However, there are some other fans, who expressed disappointment at those tweets that are spreading negativity around Dabangg 3 even before the shooting starts.
Some even pointed out a trend that makes it appear that Salman's films perform better at the box office on alternate basis. The trend has been one hit movie, followed by one flop. Salman's filmography in recent past as per release is – Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Sultan, Tubelight, Tiger Zinda Hai, Race 3.
