Shahid Kapoor is back after a year-long hiatus to tickle the funny bone with action-comedy packed film "Phata Poster Nikla Hero" along with the gorgeous Ileana D'Cruz.
The first look of the trailer gives hint that the comedy is full of Bollywood 'masala'. Shahid is seen making a grand entrance literally tearing away a large poster hoarding of Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina Kaif starrer "Ajab Prem ki Gazab Kahani".
From the house of Tips and UTV collaboration, the film appears as a full-on comedy whereby Shahid is in the character of Vishwas Rao who is mistaken as a cop but dreams of becoming a superstar someday.
Tagging along as his love interest is Ileana D'cruz and funny man Shaurubh Shukla as the don.
The film directed by Rajkumar Satoshi, of laughter riots-like "Andaz Apna Apna" and "Ajab prem Ki Gazab Kahaani" fame.
The trailer promises exaggerated filmy dialogues and catchy songs with action sequences.
Only days ago, the first look of the film was released which had Shahid jumping out of a film poster.
Produced by Ramesh Taurani along with Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur, the film is expected to release on 20 September.
