Watch 'Project Runway' Season 15 episode 1 online: Judges welcome contestants with an 'unconventional challenge' [Spoilers]

Heidi Klum and the rest of the cast members of "Project Runway" are back. The Season 15 premiere of the Lifetime reality TV show wastes no time in letting contestants getting to know each other. In episode 1, the 16 designers are introduced to their first task and it throws them off-guard.

The premiere episode takes place at a welcome party for the designers. The promo captures Heidi and Tim Gunn telling the contestants that they have to create something using party decorations.

Tim tells the contestants, "We want you to take the spirit, the aura and the vibe of the launch party and incorporate those elements into your first look."

Some of the designers have interesting ideas, but 29-year-old Erin Robertson says that she's going to create a cocktail dress as part of her first challenge. And it is at this point that Heidi introduces a twist.

The former Victoria's Secret model says, "We want you to take a little bit more than just the spirit. Whatever we decorated this beautiful party with, are your materials. So you grab whatever you can."

One contestant, Tasha Henderson, panics after Tim asks her to rework on her idea. She says that she doesn't want to go home and begins to doubt her ideas. However, it remains to be seen if she's the first to leave the competition.
