Mumbai Garuda take on Bengaluru Yodhas in the fifth match of the Pro Wrestling League 2015 on Monday, 14 December, at the Guru Nanak Stadium in Ludhiana.

Both the franchisees notched a win in their opening matches of the competition. While Mumbai Garuda defeated a Geeta Phogat-led Punjab Royals 43-24 in the inaugural match of the season at the national capital, Bengaluru Yodhas, with some stellar display from Narsingh Yadav, defeated UP Warriors 36-19 in the second game of the tournament.

Going into their second game today, the confidence is expected to be high in both camps.

Adeline Gray, a gold medal winner in the 75 kg women's freestyle category in the World Wrestling Championships in Las Vegas this year, remains the star attraction for the Mumbai side. The 24-year-old completely outclassed Belarussian Vasilisa Marzaliuk of Punjab Royals in her first bout of the competition.

India's Sakshi Malik also made headlines after getting a shock win over Geeta Phogat in the last match.

For the Bengaluru side, Narsingh Yadav, the first Indian wrestler to qualify for the 2016 Rio Olympics, gave a stunning display to win against Mongolia's Purvejav Unurbut, in the first bout of the competition. Fans wanted to watch a Sushil Kumar-Narsingh Yadav clash, but Sushil withdrew from UP Warriors just prior to the start of the wrestling league.

Bajrang Punia, another star name at the Bengaluru Yodhas lineup, also scored a comfortable win over UP Warriors' Ganzorig Mandarkhran, in his first bout.

Mumbai Garuda vs Bengaluru Yodhas is scheduled for a 7 pm IST start.
