It was a closely-fought contest the last time Dabang Delhi and U Mumba met. Although the leaders got the victory, the win over the Delhi side was narrow.

And today, anything can happen as the two teams face once more in the Pro Kabaddi League this year. The match, this time, takes place at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad.

Mumbai youngster Bhupender Singh turned out to be the key man for U Mumba as he produced some efficient raids to lead his side to a 27-22 victory over Dabang Delhi in Patna on the first day of this month.

Singh was supported efficiently by U Mumba skipper Anup Kumar to help snatch the close victory over Dabang Delhi on the day.

"Given a choice, I would take a close match where we win by two points because they allow us to be pushed to our limits during a match situation," Anup was quoted as saying, as he referred to U Mumba's narrow wins in the competition this season.

"I would take a win either way but these close wins demonstrate that we can emerge victorious while being kept on our toes. A good team thrives in adverse conditions, with their backs against the wall and U Mumba have proved that."

Mumbai won over Jaipur Pink Panthers and Telugu Titans by just a point's margin this year in the first leg, and they also got a narrow four-point win over Bengal Warriors.

But at the end of the day, it's the win that matters.

"We love to be in a corner which is the hallmark of great champions," added Anup.

Dabang Delhi, meanwhile, are currently in fifth position, with as many as 19 points separating the two teams in the table. They have had mixed luck so far, as the Delhi side have recorded four losses and three wins in the competition.

The match gets underway at 9 pm IST (4:30pm BST).
