The second edition of the Pro Kabaddi League is nearing its end. So far it has been a fascinating tournament. Three teams have made it to the final four of the league. The fourth spot will be decided on 19 August, Wednesday, when Jaipur Pink Panthers take on Patna Pirates in the penultimate game of the group stage at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Pune.

This is a do-or-die match for both the sides. Jaipur Pink Panthers is currently placed at the fourth position in the league table with 37 points from 13 games and Patna Pirates are right at Panthers' tail with 36 points, also from 13 games. Whosoever wins the game tonight will qualify for the semi-final stage of the Pro Kabaddi League 2015.

Panthers lost their last game against Bengal Warriors by a super close margin (1 point). It was a crucial tie for the Jaipur boys and had they won the match, they would have been through to the final four. But unfortunately, Bengal Warriors put up a stellar performance by winning the match 39-38.

According to the official Pro Kabaddi League website, the last man on the field for Bengal failed to enter for the last raid with few seconds left on the stop-clock. The raider earned his side a technical point which won them the game. Immediately, Jasvir shouted for an all-out, which would have handed Panthers three points but according to the rules, when a technical point is awarded, a player is not given out.

Meanwhile, Patna Pirates will be high on confidence as they thrashed Puneri Paltan by 17 points on Tuesday. They will surely put up a tough challenge in front of the defending champions of the Pro Kabaddi League.

The last time the two sides clashed in the Pro Kabaddi League 2015, Pirates pipped the Panthers by 6 points. Pirates would be aware of their strengths and weaknesses and would be looking forward to emulate their past performance against the Panthers.
