It cannot get more difficult for Bengal Warriors now as they look to to their game against third-placed Bengaluru Bulls in the Pro Kabaddi League today at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad.

The Kolkata side were decimated yesterday by the hosts Telugu Titans 44-28.

Rahul Chaudhary took his inspirational form into yesterday's game as well to conclude the match with 16 individual raid points. He was supported efficiently by Deepak Hudda, as the all-rounder notched ten points as well.

The Telugu Titans duo guided their side to a commanding start, and they were up 25-8 by the 18th minute of the game itself.

The Best Raider of the match, Mahendra Rajput, of the Bengal Warriors, remained the lone warrior of the side from Kolkata. The Maharashtra cop picked up as many as 14 raid points and two bonus points, in a valiant effort.

But, kabaddi is a team game and his individual efforts at the end of the day, remained futile.

The latest loss cements the Bengal side's position in the bottom two and with six losses from eight matches already, a place in the playoffs looks all but over for them.

For now, it will be Bengaluru's turn to cement their place in the top three. A full five points for the Titans yesterday meant that the Bulls are now nine points adrift of the Hyderabad side, and they will be looking to close the gap today.

With five wins and two losses so far, the Bengaluru Bulls look the clear favourites to notch another victory.

The Bulls come into the game after a whopping 35-21 win over the Titans on 31 July in Patna. Manjeet Chhillar and Ajay Thakur gave superlative performances on the day.

And after a long break, they are expected to strike back with the same momentum and start their Hyderabad leg of the competition this year with flying colours as well.

The match gets underway at 8 pm IST (3:30pm BST).
