Bengal Warriors, currently in second spot in the Pro Kabaddi League 2016, will be looking to increasing their points tally in the table as they get set to take on the Telugu Titans at the Patliputra Sports Complex in Patna.
Warriors will be expected to not only confirm their spot in the playoffs of the competition, but also secure second place at the end of the regular league games.
The Kolkata side had a bright start to their campaign this time, but somehwere they lost momentum, suffering three defeats in their last four fixtures. The pressure is thus back on them now to start another winning rin in the Pro Kabaddi League 2016.
The five wins from eight games will, no doubt, give the Warriors the much-needed impetus to go for another victory against the Telugu Titans. The sides faced each other in Feb. 2 this year, and the Warriors had recorded an eight-point victory over the Titans in Visakhapatnam.
The Telugu Titans also have got some catching up to do, if they want to make it to the playoffs this year. They are currently fifth in the table on 22 points, with four wins and four losses from eight games.
The Titans have won twice and lost twice in their last four fixtures, and they will also be keen to pick up a run of wins in the six remaining league games this season.
