Pawan Kumar's "U Turn" has struck gold at the box office. The Kannada movie, which has won rave reviews, has grossed over Rs. 6 crore in Karnataka.

The director himself revealed the collection on his Facebook page recently. He posted, "Audience of Karnataka have paid 6.4cr to the U TURN film as of today. But what comes to PKS eventually is just about 2.2cr. The rest goes in theatre rentals, muktiplex cuts and distribution cuts. [sic]"

The films has been made with the budget of Rs. 2.5 crore and the movie has almost recovered its investment. The satellite rights of "U Turn" is yet to be sold and the industry is expecting it to be sold for a good price.

The Kannada movie has done well in the U.S. By the end of its sixth weekend, "U Turn" has earned Rs. 40.35 lakh.

Meanwhile, Pawan Kumar is all set to release his movie online like some of his previous movies. However, the movie will be available only after the makers receive the minimum number of orders. "As soon as we receive a minimum number of Pre-orders, we will activate the online viewing of this film. Your credit card will be charged at that point, and you will receive an email informing you that you can watch the film. If you are renting it at 7.99usd, then you will have 72 hours to watch the film. If you are Buying the film at 14.99usd, then you can watch the film anytime, [sic]" as per the website.

"U Turn," which has been made under Pawan Kumar's newly-launched banner of PK Studios, has Shraddha Srinath, Roger Narayan, Skanda, Krishna, Pavan, Naveen, Divya, Pramod, Aarna, Kennedy and others in the cast.
