The Golden State Warriors are the only team in the NBA this season to have a cent percent winning record as they have won their last twelve matches. With such feat, they currently stand at the top of the western conference.

The Warriors, who won the NBA title last season, have continued their winnings ways into the regular season. They have been in an amazing form right from the start as they have defeated some huge teams such as Memphis Grizzlies, Detroit Pistons and Los Angeles Clippers as well.

Even when the Warriors have underperformed, they have showed great character to clinch matches as was witnessed against New Jersey Nets, which Stephen Curry and his men won in overtime.

The Clippers also gave Warriors a decent fight when the two teams met earlier in the month with the latter emerging triumphant 112-108 at Oracle Arena. But, the Clippers will be eager to take revenge when they face Warriors for the second time this season on Thursday.

The Clippers will have home advantage as the mega clash is scheduled to take place at Staples Center, where their fans will egg their team to hand Warriors their first defeat.

The Clippers-Warriors clash is expected to produce an entertaining match with an array of high-profile players in both the teams. Warriors, who have always been dependent on Curry, also comprise other stars such as Draymond Green and Klay Thompson.

Curry, who has already hit the ground running this season as he averages 33.7 points per game, played an integral part in their victory over Clippers with 31 points, including 13 in the last quarter. Apart from Curry, Thompson has also been impressive as he averages 15.5 ppg this season.

If the Clippers have to register their maiden victory over the warriors during the season, they need their star player -- Blake Griffin -- to fire on all cylinders. With both the starting guards, Chris Paul and JJ Redick, doubtful for the home game in Los Angeles, Griffin's performance against the Warriors could well determine the result.

It is a shame for the Clippers if they have to do without the services of Paul and Redick, who average 15.7 and 14.8ppg this season. With such big players absent, the tasks looks herculean for Griffin and co, but make no mistake, Griffin has the skills -- offensive and defensive -- to win games on his own single-handedly.
