Chicago Bulls have had a good season, being placed fourth in the Eastern Conference standings, while their opponents for tonight, Sacramento Kings have been rather disappointing, where they lie on the bottom half of the Western Conference.

Things have been so poor for the Kings that they might not even feature during the playoffs, unless Sacramento play to their name of 'Kings'.

Though Sacramento might have won their last game against the Suns in a close encounter, 85 to 83, they have been going through a poor run, where they have lost eight out of their last 10 games.

Chicago also does not enjoy a good run as they have lost and won five each in their last 10 league matches. They have won two games on a trot and would be looking for a third win in succession when they play Kings.

Bulls were stretched to the end in their last game against the Magic, with the score reading 98 to 97 in favour of the Bulls.

"Luckily they made two mistakes, one the clear path foul (on Jimmy Butler after his steal with 32.9 seconds left and trailing 97-91) and the other the backcourt violation (with 15.5 seconds left and the Bulls trailing by one)," said Gasol, as quoted by NBA official website.

"It was a good trap on our part and we did well there, but it was something that could have been avoided on their part. We'll take it. We fought, we kept at it, our spirit was good at the end. Let's face it. We got away with one here."

Jimmy Butler and Gasol have been doing well for the Bulls, as they average 18. 3 and 20.7 points per game respectively.

As far as the Kings are concerned, it is and DeMarcus Cousins, who have been doing well during the season with 19.9 and 23.9 points per game respectively.

These players, despite playing well, need to take the game to another level, if they are to have any chance of progressing in the prestigious playoffs.

A lot has been said about the Kings, but Kings coach Tyrone Corbin wants the team to focus on the game.

He said, "I told these guys that the only thing you can control is your play on the floor," as quoted by AP. "Speculation will be around as long as you're in this league.''
