Entertainment Weekly has reported that Hemsworth is coming to the new sitcom series and will be starring as himself in the popular show. Entertainment Weekly also said that the appearance of Hemsworth in the show can only be expected to connote some kind of "The Hunger Games" parody.

The revival program of "The Muppets" is expected to be a more grown-up take on the beloved Muppets characters that goes behind the scenes as Kermit, Miss Piggy and the rest stage a new prime-time series.

Besides Hemsworth, other guest stars such as the upcoming "Charlie's Angels" director Elizabeth Banks, Reese Witherspoon and Imagine Dragons will also join the show eventually. ABC has announced more guest stars will come to the show soon.

After NY Daily News reported the much-hyped recent separation between Kermit and Miss Piggy, chances are the centre theme of the show will be around the topic. The news of their separation became a sensation soon and the duo won't be a couple when the show premieres.
