The online trailer of the upcoming Malayalam romantic comedy movie, "Mudhugauv," was released at 5 p.m. on the YouTube channel of Carnival Pictures on Saturday, April 16. The movie has been in news ever since it went on the floors, as it marks the acting debut of celebrity kids Gokul Suresh and Arthana.

The one-minute, 30-second trailer features superstar Suresh Gopi's son Gokul, Vijayakumar's daughter Arthana, Vijay Babu, Soubin Shahir, Baiju, Indrans, Abu Salim, Harish, Prem Kumar, Sunil Sukhada, Kottayam Pradeep, Neena Kurup and others. The theatrical trailer was initially released in Kerala along with Ilayathalapathy Vijay's latest action thriller, "Theri" on April 14.

"Mudhugauv" is being produced by Sandra Thomas and Vijay Babu under the banner of Friday Film House in association with Carnival Motion Pictures. The production houses together had bagged the theatrical rights of the Atlee Kumar-directed "Theri" in Kerala for a whopping price of over Rs. 5 crore.

The makers of "Mudhugauv" had earlier released the first-look posters of the movie introducing the main characters. Gokul plays Bharath and pairs with Arthana, who will be seen as Ganga in the film.

The title of the film means "kiss," and the term "Mudhugauv" was first coined in the Mohanlal-Sobhana starrer superhit Malayalam 1994 film, "Thenmavin Kombath."

The upcoming film has been directed by debutant Vipin Das, while Rahul Raj has composed the music. Cinematography has been handled by Kugan S Palani and Lijo Paul has edited the movie. It is expected to hit the screens in the next couple of months.
