After the superhit song "Yenno Njaanende" from the comedy entertainer "Amar Akbar Anthony," singer Sreya Jayadeep has rendered her voice again for child artiste Meenakshi for the upcoming Mohanlal-starrer "Oppam."

The melody "Minungum Minnaminuge," sung by playback singers Sreya and MG Sreekumar, was released online through the YouTube channel of Satyam Audios on Wednesday, Aug. 24. Superstar Mohanlal shared the video of the song that features him and Meenakshi on his Facebook page. The song, shot in the beautiful locale of Ootty, shows the heartwarming relationship shared by the duo in the movie.

The 5-minute video of the song has already impressed the audience. It was viewed more than 8,000 times on the video-sharing website in less than a hour of its release.

Mohanlal plays the role of a blind lift operator in "Oppam," which marks the reunion of the superstar with director Priyadarshan after the 2013 horror thriller "Geethanjali." The trailer of the crime thriller has already raised the expectations of the audience, making it one of the most-awaited movies of the actor.

Produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirwad Cinemas, "Oppam" will hit the screens on Sept. 8, locking horns with Prithviraj Sukumaran's revenge thriller "Oozham" at the Kerala box office.
