Win and hope Barcelona don't will be Real Madrid's wish for Saturday when they play Deportivo La Coruna on the final day of the La Liga season. Real Madrid and Barcelona are fighting it out for the La Liga title, with the former needing the latter to trip up to stand a chance of clinching the crown.

Real Madrid come into this match on an 11-match winning run, which has seen them stay within touching distance of the title. However, it will remain tantalisingly a step too far, if Barcelona, as expected, beat Granada at the same time on Saturday. Barcelona currently lead the La Liga standings with 88 points from 37 games, while Real Madrid have 87.

Zinedine Zidane's men, though, cannot be bothered with what Barcelona do in their game, all they can do is beat Deportivo and hope for the best.

"I'm not going to focus on what others do," Real Madrid Zidane told the club's official website. "I can talk about what we're going to do. We are faced with the final game in La Liga, we have to play our best game to get the three points. There is nothing else on our minds. We have to do everything to try and win, as always.

"What I'm concerned about is our game. That is what we can control. We can do things well and know that if we win the three points we can hope. I'm not looking at or listening to anything else, I'm interested in our game."

The win will not come easy, though, as Deportivo are always a difficult team to come up against. Real Madrid do have a solid recent record against the team, however, and Zidane will know if the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale fire, they will come up trumps.

"It will be a tricky game away from home," Zidane added. "Deportivo are a good team who know how to play football. They will want to end the season in the best possible way in front of their fans. We need to be focussed on what we have to do from the first minute to the last. It will be difficult, but we will fight to try and win.

"We have faith in La Liga. We have won the last 11 games and we are one point behind. We are going to keep the faith until the end, until the last minute, the last second. I'm not going to talk about the likelihood of us winning La Liga."
