The upcoming Malayalm movie "King Liar" is one of the most-anticipated flicks of the year. After garnering good response for the first-look posters of the flick, the makers have released the trailer of the film at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 23 on the YouTube channel of Manorama Online.
The 1-minute 58- second trailer features Dileep, Madonna, Lal, Balu Varghese, Joy Mathew, Asha Sharath and other actors of the flick. The Siddique-Lal directorial, which was earlier scheduled to release March 27, is said to have been postponed to April 2.
With the Dileep starrer, Siddique and Lal are making their comeback to direction together after 22 years after they split for unknown reasons in 1993. The duo has delivered many superhit movies in Malayalam, including "Ramji Rao Speaking," "In Harihar Nagar," "God Father," "Vietnam Colony" and "Kabooliwala," among others.
"King Liar" is her second project of Madonna in Malayalam after the blockbuster hit "Premam." For portraying the character Celine opposite Nivin Pauly, the actress received tremendous response from the audience and she has been enjoying a huge fan following in Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
The upcoming flick, which narrates the story of a liar, is the production venture of Ouseppachan Valakkuzhy under the banner of Valakuzhi Films. While Alex Paul has composed the music for the movie, Deepak Dev has done the background score and cinematography has been handled by Alby.
