The first promo was released on T-Series YouTube channel at around 12:00 am, Thursday, and became an instant hit on various social media sites. The censor board has issued an "A" certification for the newly released trailer.

Interestingly, the number of viewers on the video-sharing website surpassed 302 within seconds of the trailer's release. Apparently, the steep rise in viewership was largely on account that the trailer didn't exceed more than "1 minute 40 seconds".

Though the much-awaited sequel to the 2003 film is yet to hit the silver screen, the first un-cut promo featuring Sunny Leone, Randeep Hooda and Arunoday Singh has already received phenomenal responses.

"On the eve of the release of our 1'st promo- Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the entire cast & crew! What a priceless journey!" Bhatt had thanked her fans for their overwhelming responses on Twitter.

Set for an August release, Jism 2 has already created much buzz for several reasons, the most prominent being Sunny Leone who has a leading role in the film. The Indo-Canadian porn star, who is all set to scorch the screen in her first Bollywood debut, already has a huge international fan base.

Along with the steamy trailer "To Lover Her Is To Die," director Bhatt has also released a raunchy poster of the film, that shows a bikini-clad Sunny posing sensuously with co-star Randeep.

Jism 2 has created a fad of its own. "It can even Calm the Tiger.. Such is the impact of ‪#Jism 2. Awesome composition Bhatt's are far ahead in terms of Creativity," tweeted a user after watching the first promo.

Earlier, the promos were supposed to be released on television, but the censor board gave an "A" rating to the video. Bhatt then opted for a smarter move and released it on the internet instead.

"We have six songs in Jism 2. Only three cater to a universal audience without losing their essence. The other three cannot be made to seem asexual! Hence, we will only submit to the censor board and plug on TV those songs ofJism 2 what we feel is appropriate for a family audience," the director tweeted.

"Delighted that @_Tseries is in absolute agreement with us with regards to NOT releasing watered down versions of Jism 2 trailers on TV. This is the FIRST time a mainstream film has chosen the internet and social media as a MORE than worthy competitor to television," she added.

Despite the rating, the filmmaker has scored success with the video receiving massive attention within hours of its release.

"THANK YOU censor board. The supposed roadblock you provided is actually a gateway to a brand new, sane and fair way forward for ALL!" Pooja wrote on Twitter.

Meanwhile, according to the latest news from, the censor board has given a "U/A" rating to the song "Abhi Abhi" from the film.

"And the madness continues- The Censors have just given my second song 'Abhi Abhi' which has absolutely NO adult content a U/A certificate!," Pooja tweeted in response to the recent rating.
