The trailer of Prithviraj Sukumaran and Vedhika's upcoming Malayalam movie "James and Alice" was released Thursday, April 14, on the YouTube channel of Dharmik Films. The one-minute eight-second video of the Sujith Vaassudev-directed movie gives a glimpse of the romantic and marital life of James and Alice, played by Prithviraj and Vedhika. The "Ennu Ninte Moideen" actor is seen in two avatars in the film —as a modern and young artiste, and then in a salt-and-pepper look.

The film is the debut directorial venture of the Kerala State Film Award winning cinematographer. It is a family entertainer in which Vedhika's character Alice gets married to James against her parents' wishes. The story revolves around the various incidents that happen in the life of the couple before and after marriage. With "James and Alice," Prithviraj and Vedhika share the screen space again after the superhit 2014 Tamil movie, "Kaaviya Thalaivan," which was directed by Vasanthabalan.

"James and Alice" has been scripted by Dr S Janardhanan and is the production venture of Dr S Sajikumar and Krishnan Sethukumar under the banner of Dharmik Films. The movie also stars Nedumudi Venu, Sai Kumar, Manju Pillai and Sijoy Varghese in pivotal roles. It is scheduled to hit theatres in Kerala April 29.
