FC Goa will be hosting NorthEast United FC in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2015 match No. 46 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda, Goa, on Wednesday.

FC Goa will return home after getting thrashed by the defending champions Atletico de Kolkata in their previous fixture of the ISL 2015. Now, they have a chance to reclaim their spot at the top of the points table by winning against NorthEast United FC.

Surprisingly, The Highlanders have never won against FC Goa since the inception of the ISL in the last season. Otherwise, Cesar Farias and his boys have had a wonderful season so far unlike last season. They will be hoping to defeat The Gaurs.

If The Highlanders manage to beat The Gaurs on Wednesday, they will climb to the second spot of the ISL 2015 points table.

"I don't think they're a team in a bad moment or with less confidence. They are a very good team with solid coaching staff and solid players and there are possibilities, not because they are down or low on confidence. We played our first three games well that's why there was no reason to put our heads down. We knew we were facing some inconveniences for example we had eight fewer players," NorthEast United FC gaffer Cesar Farias told the reporters at the press conference ahead of their clash against FC Goa.

"We knew from the beginning that we needed a team with strong character because we were the team that played the last game of the first round, and we will be the first team to finish the league stage. Our schedule compared to other teams' is more compressed, knowing we have to travel the longest."

FC Goa would want to leave the Atletico de Kolkata behind. They have played some good all-round football in the ISL 2015 and they would want to get to back to their natural rhythm as early as possible.

"Like, how the victory of 7-0 didn't affect us, so the loss of 4-0 also didn't affect us. If we win this game now, the game against Kolkata will be forgotten. Every game is history, so let's carry on forward towards our targets. Our defeat that day was more down to Kolkata's superiority," Zico told the reporters on Tuesday.
