Delhi Dynamos will be looking to overturn the result of their previous encounter in this edition of the Indian Super League as they host Chennaiyin FC in their second match of the tournament today (Thursday).

The action shifts to the national capital now as the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium hosts the first game of the ISL this season.

Both Delhi and Chennai lost their inaugural game of the season, and will now be looking to fight back to record three points and get off the mark in the league table.

While the Roberto Carlos-led Dynamos lost to FC Goa 0-2 on 4 October, Chennaiyin FC had to suffer a 2-3 defeat at the hands of defending champions Atletico de Kolkata on the opening day.

Looking ahead to their first home game this season, Carlos, who played for his side in the second half of the game in the match against Goa, and also took a powerful free-kick in the closing stages of the game, said that Delhi have to be in the best of form to get a favourable result over their opponents.

"Chennai are a very strong team with a shrewd coach [Marco Materazzi] and good players," the Brazil legend said in the pre-match presser. "We will have to play well and we can do that. Against Goa we made mistakes and lost.

"The tournament is short so we cannot afford to make such mistakes. But, I can assure you that our team is also very good and tomorrow's game will be one of the best matches of the competition."

When asked whether he will be starting the game today for the home side, Carlos seemed interested but he mentioned that he is keen on fielding the juniors.

"I want to play. But it is hard for me. Let the juniors play. I will help them out in the second half, if required," the Brazil veteran said.

For Chennaiyin, it's all about turning around the results. The Southern Indian side have got their work cut out and have to be wary of giving away too many loose passes, just like a crucial mistake from Bernard Mendy in the match against ATK provided a goal to the away side.

"Yes, we conceded silly goals. We know our mistakes. We are working on it," Chennaiyin FC assistant coach Vivek Nagul said.

The Indian stars -- including the likes of Karanjit Singh, Jeje Lalpekhlua (Chennaiyin FC) as well as Robin Singh and Francis Fernandes (Delhi Dynamos) -- will be unavailable for the game, as they will be taking part in India's World Cup qualifier against Turkmenistan -- which will take place at the same time.
