Chennaiyin FC will be facing FC Goa in match no. 30 of the Indian Super League (ISL) 2015 at the Jawaharlal Nehru, Marina Arena Stadium in Chennai on Thursday.

The ISL 2015 has already showcased some of the most exciting encounters between the teams. We are already halfway through the ISL 2015, and nobody knows who is going to make it to the final four at the end. 

One can expect yet another cliff-hanger, when Chenniayin FC and FC Goa lock horns on Thursday in Chennai. 

Both the teams will be looking to reach the top of the ISL 2015 points table. FC Goa have occupied the third and Chennaiyin FC have positioned themselves in the fourth place. Whoever wins will go to the top of the points table.

The last time these two sides met in  ISL 2015, FC Goa were handed a drubbing (4-0) by Chennaiyin FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda, Goa. Stiven Mendoza scored an outstanding hat-trick in that match as well.

The Gaurs will be looking to avenge that humiliating loss at home, but FC Goa gaffer Zico does not have revenge in his mind. He just wants to win games and reach the final four.

"There is no this feeling of revenge, past is past. We came here looking for three points because it doesn't matter if we just beat Chennai and lose other matches. There is no point in that," Zico told the reporters at the pre-match press conference.

"Mendoza is a good player, very fast and he had a great game against us. I had told our players to take special care of him and Elano but we did not succeed. We don't have any special plan for Mendoza now."

Chennaiyin FC head coach Marco Materazzi believes that it is not going to be cream and cheese against FC Goa. They will have to be at their best in order to outclass Zico's men. Materazzi agreed that FC Goa have played some good football in the ISL 2015 and defeating them again would give them a lot of confidence and further push to reach closer to the final four of the tournament.
