Barcelona will take on Fiorentina in the penultimate match of their International Champions Cup campaign at the Stadio Artemio Franchi in Florence on August 2.

The Spanish giants have been struggling for form in the pre-season tour as they have lost two of their games against Manchester United (3-1) and Chelsea (2-2, Chelsea won on penalties) respectively, and have managed to draw one. The only match that they had won was against Los Angeles Galaxy by 2-1.

Barcelona will be playing their first competitive game of UEFA Supercup against Sevilla on 11 August. Head coach Luis Enrique is not happy with the way his team has played so far in the pre-season. Enrique would want his boys to be up and running ahead of the start of the season.

After the defending champions of the English Premier League handed them a defeat in their last game and that too in penalties, Enrique said that pressure has always been on Barcelona irrespective of their opponent.

Their big guns, Lionel Messi and Neymar, have missed the pre-season tour as they decided to take some time off football and rest after their exertions of Copa America 2015. Luis Suarez has been single-handedly leading the attack. Defender Douglas is likely to miss out on this game because of a thigh injury. Jordi Alba, Andres Iniesta and Gerrard Pique might get a place in the first XI as well.

Meanwhile, Fiorentina is coming into the match after defeating Benfica in their last game and that again was a penalty shootout win. They have lost their other game so far in their pre-season campaign.

The Serie A side will start their new season against AC Milan on 22 Augus. If Fiorentina manages to register to outclass Enriques's men on Sunday, then it will give a major boost to their confidence ahead of the start of the forthcoming Series A season.
