A Videsi marrying a desi is always news in India.

In an interesting video that is doing the rounds on social media, a Canadian groom surprises his Indian lady love on their wedding day by playing the piano and singing hit Bollywood number "Hum tere bin ab reh nahi sakte, tere bina kya wajood mera" from the movie "Aashiqui 2" starring Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur.

Simran Malhotra, 27, who had no idea about her husband's plans, was pleasantly surprised when she heard Frank Gregoire, 36, singing the beautiful song "Tum Hi Ho" during their reception party. Tears of joy welled up Simran's eyes.

After finding the song to be the most perfect way to express his love, Gregoire took almost six weeks to learn the lyrics of the popular Hindi song, which he wanted to dedicate to his desi wife.

The couple, who met at work in 2012 in Baltimore, got married on 27 June in Sikh and Christian traditions.

The video "Tum Hi Ho | Frank & Simran" uploaded by AVP Studios, Canada, has been watched more than 1.7 lakh times at the time of reporting.
