For shippers of "The Good Wife," it is sad news that the show is finally coming to an end. The announcement, made during Super Bowl, stated that the network will air the last nine episodes and the series will conclude in May 2016.

[Spoiler Alert]

With the end in sight, the show will perhaps tie up all the loose ends, which has already been seen in Alicia Florrick's case (Julianna Marguiles). In Season 7 Episode 14, Alicia finds herself in the same situation as she did many years ago. Alicia and her partner Luca Quinn take up Cary Agos' (Matt Czuchry) job offer and shut their law firm's operations.

However, the move to a new organisation will be difficult for Alicia. The lawyer will find herself unaccustomed to office politics. Furthermore, there will be tension between Alicia and Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski) regarding a new case involving a secret computer tablet.

Alicia's decision to join Lockhart, Agos & Lee is no doubt a practical decision, but it remains to be seen if Alicia sees the benefit in it. In any case, this is perhaps a short term solution and she will find something else to do.

Season 7 Episode 14's synopsis on TV Guide reads:

"Alicia has trouble adjusting when she returns to work at Lockhart, Agos and Lee with Lucca. Their first case, involving a secret new computer tablet, causes a rift within the firm."

"The Good Wife" Season 7 Episode 14 titled "Monday" airs Sunday, Feb. 14, 2016 at 9 p.m. on CBS. You can live stream the episode online via CBS All Access.
