Set in the 1980s in Minnesota and North Dakota, Noah Hawley's "Fargo" has crafted a storyline that depicts a small time crime family, a crime syndicate, the law. And it features people running away from the law. In the snowy fields of Minnesota, law enforcement doesn't really exist. And if it does, it's in compliance with the local criminal groups that bribe or use violence to scare the police. This was evidenced in an intense scene between Ben Schmidt, Lou Solverson (Patrick Wilson) and the Gerhardts. After all, America, at the time, was reeling under the Reagan era.

In "Fargo's" Season 2 Episode 3, the Gerhardt family unravels as each member carries his/her own agenda. Dodd (Jeffrey Donovan), the eldest of the Gerhardt brothers is violent, impulsive and quick to establish his power. His younger brother Bear (Angus Sampson) and his mother, Floyd (Jean Smart) however, are not. Although Dodd does not want to surrender and make a deal with a crime syndicate, Kansas City, his mother is of another opinion.

Furthermore, Episode 3 also depicted an intense search carried out by the police, Mike Milligan (Bokeem Woodbine) and Dodd to find the youngest Gerhardt brother, Rye (Kieran Culkin).

The promo for Episode 4 indicates that this search will continue, and it will be Dodd's right hand man, Hanzee who makes the most progress in the case.

In the promo, Hanzee looks at the headlights of Peggy's damaged car in a garage. He pieces together information and we predict that the Gerhardt family finally finds out who killed Rye. The teaser for Episode 4 titled, "Fear and Trembling" captures a tearful Floyd and Dodd in the car.

In the light of a death in the family, will Floyd's attitude towards her family business change? The Gerhardt matriarch was open to the idea of merging with Kansas City. However, we predict that Rye's death will embolden her to be as violent, revengful and egoistic like her eldest son, Dodd.

The promo also hints at disaster for the Blumquist couple. Peggy (Kirsten Dunst) and her husband, Ed (Jesse Plemons) are terrified that the Gerhardt's might come for them.

The synopsis for Episode 4, released by TV.com reads: "Floyd responds to Kansas City's proposal; Hanzee takes a road trip; and Lou comes to a realization."

"Fargo" Season 2 Episode 4 "Fear and Trembling" airs on Monday, 2 November at 10pm on FX. You can live stream the episode via FX website.
