Tottenham Hotspur will face an upbeat Leicester City in an FA Cup third-round fixture at the White Hart Lane on Sunday.

The Foxes have managed to surprise everybody with the way they have played in this season. Leicester City are just two points behind league leaders Arsenal in the English Premier League (EPL) 2015-16 points table.

Leicester City will take on Tottenham again in the Premier League after three days at the same venue, but they would want to gain momentum on Sunday by beating Mauricio Pochettino's side at the White Hart Lane.

When these two sides met in the fourth round of the FA Cup last season, the Foxes got the better of Tottenham (2-1). Leicester City coach Claudio Ranieri is aware the Spurs have a number of good players who can cause a lot of problems on Sunday.

"It is difficult to play Tottenham because they have fantastic players," Leciester City gaffer Claudio Raieri was quoted as saying by Evening Standard ahead of their FA Cup third-round calsh against Tottenham on Sunday. "They have a lot of young players. Why? Because they started earlier than us. We want to follow their example."

The Spurs have won the FA Cup eight times, and will look to give their very best to register a win against The Foxes at their home ground on Sunday.

"It is the oldest competition in the world and we respect it. We have a strong squad and Christmas was busy. It's a good chance for some players who deserve to play to show their quality and fight for a place in the team," Tottenham coach Mauricio Pochettino told mediapersons ahead of their FA Cup encounter against Leciester City.
