With three Europa League titles, Sevilla is one of the most successful teams in the competition as they prepare to face Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk in the final at Warsaw on Wednesday. A win against the Ukrainian side will help Sevilla become the most successful team in the competition.

Both teams have earned their place in the final after defeating top teams in the last four, with Dnipro getting the better of Italian club Napoli with an aggregate score of 2-1. En route to the final, they have finished off teams like Ajax and Olympiakos.

Sevilla, on the other hand, put on an amazing display of football against another Italian side, Fiorentina, in the semifinal, winning both home and away. The aggregate score read 5-0.

Apart from the coveted trophy, Sevilla and Dnipro will also have their eyes on the Champions League spot, which will be guaranteed to the winner of Europa League, irrespective of their standings in the domestic competition.

Sevilla have to win the title to play Champions League football next season, which might drive their players even more, as they finished fifth in La Liga. Dnipro have also not sealed their Champions League berth for next season with a game to play in their domestic league. Either Shakhtar Donetsk or Dnipro will grab the the required second spot, depending upon their last day result.

Though some may find it surprising that a team like Dnipro have found a way to the final, coach Myron Markevych was confident of his team after defeating Olympiakos in the round of 32. "Once we beat Olympiakos, I started believing that we could go to the semi-finals at least," UEFA's official website quoted Myron Markevych as saying.

But, Markevych needs to understand that they are playing against a strong Spanish team, who have run past some top teams across Europe in the competition, such as Villareal and Zenit Saint Petersburg. Sevilla will want their star player, Carlos Becca, who is the highest goalscorer for the club in the Europa league this season with four, to deliver the goods for one final time in the competition.

Apart from Becca, Sevilla have players with quality as well as attacking flair in the form of Éver Banega, Aleix Vidal and José Antonio Reyes. Sevilla have scored as many as 26 goals in the competition so far.

If these players get their act together, they can help their team turn victorious for the second time in a row and also achieve a major feat of winning the title four times.

Markevych is aware of the attacking threat that the Spanish side can bring to the table during the final.

"Sevilla are a very good attacking side – they have good forwards and will create a number of chances. This is a headache for us, but our defence – at least until today – has played well," added Myron Markevych.

Dnipro are in an unfamiliar territory as the Ukrainian side are playing their first major European final. Without a shadow of doubt, it is one of the biggest nights in the club's history as well. As a result of which important players were rested against Shakhtar Donetsk in the domestic competition over the weekend to keep them fresh for the final.
