Belgium are one of the top sides in European football at present with an array of top players in their rank. The current crop of top players such as Eden Hazard, Christian Benteke, Kevin Du Bryne and Marounane Fellaini make them a huge force in world football as well.

Hence, Cyprus are in for a huge task when they face Belgium at GSP Stadium in Nicosia. Cyprus have to win the game against the European giants if they are to have any chance of making it to France for the 2016 Euro championship.

Belgium, on the other hand, fresh from their win against Bosnia-Herzegovina a few days ago, head into the match as favourites. Belgium are currently placed second in Group B and a victory for the visitors will more or less seal their place for the Euro 2016 finals.

Belgium have been impressive in the qualifiers as they have only lost one match during the qualifiers, against Wales, who stand atop Group D with 17 points.

Belgium, who defeated Cyprus 5-0 when they met last in qualifiers, will be buoyed with striker Benteke expected to start after recovering from a thigh injury. However, they are still missing the services of Mousa Dembele, who has an ankle injury.

But Belgium cannot afford to take Cyprus lightly as they have made some changes in the team from the one which they defeated 5-0 in March. Also Cyprus played well against Wales in their last game, but lost 1-0.

Had Cyprus won that game, they could have possibly got a good chance to take the second spot if they would defeat Belgium on Sunday.

But the situation has become very much desperate as it is a must win game against Belgium. Cyprus can take inspiration from their performance against Wales, where they faced a settled and a dangerous side.

Cyprus forward, Nestor Mytides is aware of the tough match against Belgium. "We have a tough game coming up. Belgium are not only the best team in the group, but also one of the best sides in the competition. We were all disappointed after the Wales defeat because we honestly felt we could have won. But we have put that defeat behind us," UEFA official website quoted the forward as saying.
