Chelsea travel to Loftus Road to take on London rivals Queens Park Rangers as they look to maintain their healthy lead at the top of the Premier League.

The Blues have been in excellent form this season, sitting at the top of the Premier League since their 6-3 win at Everton on 30 August.

Manchester City were the only team that came close to catching Chelsea this season as the Citizens were tied with the Blues on points, goal scored and goals conceded for nine days in January.

However, a series of poor results from Manchester City have allowed Blues to reopen a healthy lead at the top of the Premier League.

Chelsea are currently four points clear of Arsenal at the top of the table, with the Gunners having played two games more than the Blues.

This means that the Blues will be going seven points clear with a game in hand at the top of the table if they manage to beat QPR on Sunday.

And Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho feels that this healthy lead has taken off all the pressure from his side as they are not dependent on any one result at this stage of the season.

"We have spoken about not being influenced by anything and we are in a position where we can be isolated from everything," the Portuguese told Chelsea's official website.

"We don't have to be watching Man United against Man City; we don't have to be waiting for what they are going to do. We are in a situation that is good because we just think about ourselves."

Although Chelsea are expected to beat the struggling QPR side on Sunday, Mourinho feels that clashes with bottom placed teams are always difficult.

"These clubs at the bottom of the league, they know that even a point is not a solution when it goes to the end so it creates very difficult matches," added Mourinho.

However, the former Porto boss feels that Chelsea's current position gives them the liberty to completely focus on their clash against the Hoops.

"We know the opponent, we the know the stadium and we know everything so we know that it is going to be difficult, but we just focus on that and when the QPR match finishes we think about what's next. I like this situation of being isolated. It is just us."

Meanwhile, the Hoops will also be desperate to get something out of this fixture against Chelsea as they try to remain in the Premier League next season.

After losing five successive fixtures in the Premier League, QPR will be a little confident, following their performances against West Brom and Aston Villa in their last two games.

While they were able to record a convincing 4-1 win over West Brom, the Hoops also played well to pick up a point, following a 3-3 draw against Aston Villa.

The Hoops are again expected to take an attacking approach against Chelsea, but manager Chris Ramsey insists that he will be satisfied with a narrow 1-0 win.

"We are hoping that there are no goals until the 91st minute and then we get a penalty - we would take that now," said Ramsey, according to ESPN.

"But the way we have gone this season the game will still end up 4-3! We are hoping it is not a good game from that point of view. 3-3 is a great game for the neutral but not very good form the point of view that we know we can defend and play better than that."

Expected Line-ups

QPR: Green; Traore, Onuoha, Caulker, Hill; Phillips, Sandro, Barton, Kranjcar; Austin, Zamora

Chelsea: Courtois; Ivanovic, Terry, Cahill, Azpilicueta; Matic, Fabregas, Oscar; Willian, Hazard, Remy
