After the shocking cliffhanger of episode 7, Empire season 3 will be back with another interesting episode this Wednesday, December 7, at 9 pm EST on Fox Network. Episode 8 is titled The Unkindest Cut and it will focus on Andre and his brother Jamal.
The two Lyon siblings are going through a crucial time and every decision they make will have a greater impact, but it does not stop them from moving forward. While the eldest son of Lucious is trying to fill in the space of Rhonda by spending more time with Nessa, Jussie Smollett's character is planning to make his come back to the music industry.
In the upcoming episode, Trai Byers' character will sabotage Tiana's big appearance at a fashion show in order to make Nessa's presence felt. It might make his parents furious and they could plan something against his new lover.
The official trailer shows the hip hop mogul instructing his assistant to keep a track of his son's biggest weakness and it could be Sierra A McClain's character. Will she be the next victim of their family politics? Since the video shows Cookie being sceptical about her son, it remains to be seen what lies ahead for the new woman in Andre's life.

In the meantime, Jamal will seek Philip's help to get over his post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). But Lucious might stop him from releasing his new album as he was deeply hurt by the lyrics and visuals of it. Meanwhile, the promo for the eighth episode also hints at the death of a lead character. It shows the hip hop mogul approaching a black woman and strangling her to death.
