The Lyon family will face a crisis when "Empire" Season 2 episode 12 airs. The latest instalment, titled "A Rose by Another Name," pits Lucious Lyon's (Terrence Howard) eldest son Andre (Trai Byers) against his youngest Hakeem (Bryshere Gray).

[Spoiler Alert]

Ever since Hakeem took over as the head of Empire Entertainment, tensions have been on the rise. The youngest son has not found any ally within his family and as the plot progresses; gaining friends will become more difficult for Hakeem.

So far, Hakeem's mother Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) has always had his back. However, this changes in episode 12. In the promo, the matriarch of the Lyon family doesn't hide her shock and disgust when Hakeem unveils the new logo for Empire Entertainment. The new sigil, which is Hakeem's face, even shocks his brother Andre.

Cookie begins to work against Hakeem also because of his close friendship with Camilla (Naomi Campbell). At one point in the promo, she says, "That b**** gotta go." This intense hatred for Hakeem's only ally motivates her to work with Luscious, who later points his gun at Camilla.

In the face of growing anger against Hakeem, who does the family look to? Andre seems to be the most obvious choice. In fact, the eldest son looks more responsible and dutiful when he alludes to his family and says, "We are not perfect, but we are all we got."

Fans of the show will remember that Andre is already planning to vacate Hakeem of his position in the company. Is this part of his power-play?

The promo for episode 12 also includes a scene in which Anika (Grace Gealy) informs Andre and his wife that she's pregnant with Hakeem's child. The couple, who recently lost their own, might just adopt the baby, without informing Hakeem.

"Empire" Season 2 episode 12 airs 9 p.m. EST Wednesday, April 6, on Fox. You can live-stream the episode via Fox Now.
