A launch trailer was released for Ubisoft's upcoming hacking video game Watch Dogs, which is gearing up for release.
The launch trailer differs from its earlier trailers, showing some of the action sequences like car chases and shooting which are a part of this open-world title. Also in a brief cutscenes, we can see that earlier the protagonist Aiden Pearce was not like what he is in this game. However, he was changed by something he saw that led him to be a hacker.
This nearly 2-minute video also shows that players will be able to ride boats, ride on top of trains and take out the lights of the whole city, when chased by police helicopter. Also shown are point blank kills from Pearce in fast moving frames. Players can also activate traps in order to deter rivals.
The setting of the game is a fictional Chicago, where the whole city is managed by a single operating system - CtOS. Players will be given a smartphone that is the basis with which hacks can be initiated. Further, apps like profiler and crime prevention system in the smartphone allow players to get access to any citizen and other pops up notifications on crime respectively.
The game looks like fun to play as players can hack into almost anything and steal money, identity or they can stop traffic or turn off the supply of electricity.
The game features both single player and multiplayer modes. In multiplayer modes, the game will also have an eight-player free roam mode, car races, competitive decryption combat, and a CtOS mobile challenge.
Meanwhile, Variety has praised the Watch Dog publishers for knowing how to promote the game before it is launched.

Conan O'Brien Review's Watch Dogs
TV host Conan O'Brien was definitely clueless when he played the game and gave a review of his own, a rather funny type, saying he could not drive the vehicles, or his controls were wrong. He is also shown shooting at NPCs randomly. He also gets killed many times.
