Swansea City welcome Everton to the Liberty Stadium tonight in a one of the all-Premier League clashes in the Capital One Cup third round.

2013 winners Swansea beat Championship side Rotherham United last month to make it to the third round. Gary Monk's men had a stellar start to the Premier League this season, and went into the international break with three wins out of three, sharing the top spot with Chelsea.

However, the Swans suffered back-to-back losses to the Blues and Southampton soon after, which brought an end to their early momentum. The Welsh side will now be keen to get back to winning ways, starting tonight at home against Everton.

The Toffees, on the other hand, have had a relatively poor start to their league campaign, managing just one win out of the five matches so far.

Roberto Martinez's side are yet to win a match at home this season, losing to both Chelsea and Crystal Palace, while fellow Londoners Arsenal came back from two goals behind to hold them to a draw at Goodison Park as well.

However, Everton have been pretty good on the road, with a 2-2 draw at Leicester City on the opening day followed by a 2-0 win at West Bromwich Albion, and will be looking to extend that spell in Wales tonight.

Team News

Both teams are expected to give opportunities to most of their fringe players and youngsters in their squads tonight.

Swansea: Wilfried Bony will serve a one-match suspension, with Bafetimbi Gomis set to replace him up top.

Everton: Seamus Coleman (head), Steven Pienaar (hamstring) and Ross Barkley (knee) remain unavailable, while Arouna Kone (knee) is a doubt. However, long-term absentee Bryan Oviedo (broken leg) is all set to make a return to the first team.

Probable Lineups

Swansea: Tremmel; Tiendalli, Fernandez, Bartley, Richards; Routledge, Carroll, Fulton, Montero; Emnes, Gomis

Everton: Robles; Hibbert, Stones, Alcaraz, Oviedo; Besic, Gibson, Osman; Atsu, Eto'o, McGeady
