Sheldon will be the last one to praise another colleague for succeeding in their chosen like of work. He does not like others, especially those he feels has a lower IQ than himself, succeeding in their career, and this Thursday's episode of The Big Bang Theory will see him feeling extremely jealous when a colleague from the Geology department secures a grant.

Warning: This post contains spoilers from the upcoming episode of CBS' The Big Bang Theory.

The episode is titled The Geology Elevation and it will see Bert receiving the $500K MacArthur Genius Grant, something that Sheldon is not too happy about. The episode will see Sheldon trying to control his frustration, but later things take a turn for the worse, when he comes face-to-face with Bert. What irritates Sheldon the most is Bert admitting that he has a soft spot for Amy, and this will result in Jim Parsons character trying to physically hurt Bert.

The gang contacts Sheldon's role model Stephen Hawking to try and talk some sense into him, but that attempt fails miserably, when Hawking admits that he isn't too happy about not winning the Nobel Prize.

The Big Bang Theory airs Thursdays on CBS. The official synopsis for The Geology Elevation reads:
"A geologist coworker's MacArthur Genius fellowship award leaves Sheldon stone cold jealous. Meanwhile, Howard stumbles upon a remote-control Stephen Hawking action figure that he invented. Hawking appears as himself."

The episode can be watched online via CBS All Access or on the network's official page.
