France will look to make it three wins out of three when they run up against Canada in the 2015 Rugby World Cup on Thursday.

The French have won both their matches so far – against Italy and Romania -- at this rugby World Cup, and they will fancy a third consecutive victory, against Canada in at Stadiummk in Milton Keynes.

"We have to keep in mind that each game can be crucial," winger Brice Dulin said. "We know that the Canadians are really physically. We'll have to put a lot of pressure on them to prevent them from playing as they did against Italy."

France, who were a little sloppy in the first half against Romania, but found their mojo, after a rollicking from Philippe Saint-Andre, in the second, will know their real test in Pool D will come against Ireland, who are a point ahead, following two matches each.

For now, though, they can only beat the team that is put in front of them, and Canada have managed just a bonus point so far, having lost their matches to Ireland and Italy.

The loss to Italy will be particularly hard to get over for Canada, considering the North American team were leading for a concerted period of time in that match. However, in the end, Italy managed a 23-18 victory, and Canada will do well to stay with the strong France side on Thursday.

"To be honest, it was pretty gutting afterward," Canada coach Kieran Crowley said of the loss to Italy. "They were pretty down for a fair while, which is natural.

"It's not so much disappointment now but just the realisation that it was there for us if we had performed a little bit better in a couple of areas

"I think we're starting to get over the hump and hopefully come game time against France, we'll be excited about getting back out there and trying to do it again."
