Argentina stayed with New Zealand till about the 60th minute mark, before fading and allowing the All Blacks to run all over them in their opening match. Come Friday, the Pumas will want to come away with an emphatic, bonus-point win when they face Georgia in a 2015 Rugby World Cup Pool C game in Gloucester.

The defeat to the All Blacks would have been expected, but in a Rugby World Cup, where there hasn't been an easy game for any team, Argentina will know they will need to be at their best to top Georgia on Friday.

"The pressure is always here with us," Pumas coach Daniel Hourcade said. "It's part of high performance. And also in a World Cup, the team that wants to be on the top like us have to have the ability to take the pressure. And we want to be on the top."

While Argentina come into this World Cup a stronger team, and expecting, at least, a quarterfinal finish, Hourcade is also aware of the fact that Georgia will not be pushovers, not just a team playing to make up the numbers.

"The opportunity to play the Rugby Championship gave us a different preparation," Hourcade added. "We have grown a lot as a team, but we also consider Georgia have grown a lot. The fact that they beat Tonga shows us that."

Georgia fashioned an impressive 17-10 win over Tonga last Saturday, but to top Argentina, they will need to play error-free rugby for the entire 80 minutes, something that is a lot easier said than done.

"We've changed a lot because, in my point of view, we're a lot fitter than 2011 team, and boys who were involved in the 2011 team have also said that they're a lot fitter, a lot stronger than they were in that tournament," Georgia coach Milton Haig, a New Zealander, said in the official Rugby World Cup website.

"Also, if you look at that match, and certainly I've looked at a lot of that footage over the years, we were pretty one-dimensional. We had our big forwards and we played through our big forwards, but once we released it to our backs we were a bit predictable. We didn't have any attack and I think now we have a lot more variation in our attack."

Haig also believes with Argentina being the heavy favourites, all the pressure will be on the Pumas, which might help Georgia fashion an upset.

"It's a nice opportunity for us this time because there's no pressure on Georgia, all the pressure is on Argentina," Haig added.

"We know that if we're going to have a chance at winning we're going to have to attack more, so you will see that, and you will see us using the ball a bit more.

"If we can defend like we did against Tonga and create a few more opportunities, we'll create some pressure. If Japan can beat South Africa, why can't we beat Argentina?"
