What was supposed to have been David Beckham's 40th birthday bash, turned out to be an impromptu reunion of the Spice Girls. The very popular all-girl pop band from the 90s not only had a blast at the party, but also welcomed a new band member.

We know the five-member band included Posh Spice (Victoria Beckham), Baby Spice (Emma Bunton), Ginger Spice (Geri Halliwell), Sporty Spice (Mel C) and Scary Spice (Melanie Brown). But on 2 May when Posh Spice rounded up all the girls in Marrakesha, Morocco, Mel B was missing from the scene. Surprisingly in the pictures, the group still numbered five. Wonder why?

Well, that's because filling in for Mel B's seat was none other than Eva Longoria. It's not like the "Desperate Housewives" star has been gunning for Mel B's spot as the fifth band member, but she did declare herself as Latina Spice.

Not only did she call herself the new band member, but also stepped in to pose for all the photos. Tweeting the picture of the all-new Spice Girls, she joked: "I'm the new Spice Girl! #Latina Spice."

Looking stunning in a yellow dress, Longoria also took a moment to pose with the birthday boy himself.

Great to see these shy and retiring ladies. Never a dull moment.

Longoria shares an affectionate bond with Brooklyn, the eldest child of David and Victoria. She also posted some pictures of Brooklyn and herself at the Morrocan party.

While the Spice Girls claim that 'Friendship never ends,' there have been reports that point towards Posh and Scary's frosty relationship these days. Well, this might explain her absence from the lavish birthday celebrations. But as of now all that we know is that she missed the bash because she had "America's Got Talent" business to attend.

Thanks to wifey Victoria, now it looks like David Beckham had quite a "Spicy" birthday bash.
