The Season 6 finale of AMC's zombie apocalypse drama "The Walking Dead" is expected to be dark, and rumours doing the rounds hint at one fan-favourite character dying in episode 16 titled "Last Day on Earth."

The Spoiling Dead Fans Wednesday posted on its Facebook page a leaked audio of the final scene featuring Negan, the character essayed by Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Negan is considered one of the most notorious villains to come out of Robert Kirkaman's comic book series, and if the AMC series follows the comics, then Glenn will be the one to die.

However, the audio does not reveal who Negan's victim is.

The audio is of Negan's monologue where he reminds Rick and gang that they have killed a lot of his men. Negan also tells them that he wants half of whatever they have back in Alexandria Safe Zone.

"I am going to beat the holy hell out of one of you," Negan says to Rick and gang. "This, this is Lucille and she is awesome." At first Negan thinks of killing Maggie to relieve her of her pregnancy pains. But then the villain decides against killing Maggie and he does an "eenie meenie miney mo" to choose his victim.

The most chilling part of the audio is towards the end when we hear Lucille finally connecting with the victim. The screams suggest that it is indeed a brutal death.

The previous episode saw Maggie experiencing extreme pain in her abdomen shortly after Enid gives her a haircut. Maggie's abdomen pain could be an indication that her baby is in distress and Sunday's episode will see Alexandrians loading her up on an RV to take her to a doctor in Hilltop Colony. However, they get intercepted by the Saviors and she is brought to Negan.

"The Walking Dead" Season 6 finale airs Sunday on AMC.
