After Rick and Michonne, another pair from the core group is set to become romantically involved in "The Walking Dead," reported TVLine.

The website did not reveal who the new couple is, other than to say that it will be revealed in "the very near future." But fans have already placed their bets on Sasha and Abraham, despite the fact that Abraham is still in a relationship with Rosita.

Talking about a possible romance between the two, actor Michael Cudlitz said both Abraham and Sasha have feelings for each other, but they have refrained from acting on it as Abraham was still involved with Rosita.

"I think he knows that she is absolutely attracted to him. He says, 'A man knows.' But she says, 'You've got some s—t to deal with.' She knows I'm still with Rosita. So, she's not going to [jump into his arms]," the actor told TVGuide in November.

Elaborating on what pulls his character toward Sasha, Cudlitz said they share a bond unlike any other survivor. "Her pain, her loss, is something he identifies with greatly. It brings them closer because he feels connected to her. He fully understands what she is going through, and that in itself is something that pulls them together," Cudlitz said.

In Robert Kirkman's comic book series -- the source material for "The Walking Dead" television drama -- Abraham cheats on Rosita with an Alexandria Safe-Zone resident named Holly. Abraham also tells Rosita that he never loved her, but before his death he tells Eugene to look after Rosita and admits that he never wanted to hurt her.

As for what to expect in the upcoming episode titled "Not Tomorrow Yet," the synopsis states that Rick and gang will try to take on the new enemy.

"Rick and the group realize the only way to maintain the peace of Alexandria is to fight a new enemy. This time, though, our group might be outmatched," the synopsis on Wikia reads.
