It was just recently the stories of new Volkswagen Vento facelift has started doing the rounds on the internet. Spied already a couple of times, Volkswagen Vento facelift is tipped to make its market entry during the festive season of this year.

Now the folks at Motor Octane who have managed to capture another set of spy shots of the model claim that the facelifted avatar of Vento is likely to get daytime running lights LEDs. If this is true, Vento facelift will be the only model in its segment to get LEDs.

Vento facelift is speculated to accommodate minor changes in the front and rear profile of the model. The earlier spy shots of the model have shown LED tail lamps, re-worked headlamp and grille. Going by the rumours, the interior of the new Vento is also likely to get new features, however the basic design and styling of the model will remain the same as now.

As for engine, the facelift of Vento is likely to pack the same 1.5-litre diesel engine, which can churn out 103.5bhp power @4,400rpm and 250Nm of peak torque @1,500-2,500rpm with five-speed manual transmission and seven-speed DSG automatic and 1.2-litre TSI and 1.6-litre MPI engines.

In Russia, too, the sedan is expected to get a facelift and the model was spotted last month.
