"The Voice" USA 2014 has reached the penultimate week of the competition, with the winner to be announced after two live shows. The remaining top five contestants will perform live in Monday's semifinals episode, based on which America will decide who goes to the finals next week.

The semifinals episode will be telecast live at 8:00 pm EST on NBC Television (6.30 am IST, Tuesday). The contestants will perform to impress the Americans as they will decide their fate in the competition.

Christina Grimmie and Kat Perkins from Team Adam, Josh Kaufman from Team Usher, Kristen Merlin from Team Shakira and Jake Worthington from Team Blake will hit the stage again on Monday.

Two contestants will be sent home during the elimination round on Tuesday, leaving just three for the finale next week.

Some of the most consistent performers - Sisuandra Lewis, Delvin Choice and Audra McLaughlin - were sent home in last week's elimination round. They were placed in the bottom four along with Perkins, who was given another chance by the American public through Instant Save.

Adam Levine still has two contestants left in the competition, while the other three coaches have only one each.

Team Adam: In last week's live show, Grimmie sang Lil Wayne's "How to Love" and it was a good performance, though not as good as her rendition of Drake's "Hold On, We're Going Home" in the previous week. Perkins sang Daft Punk's "Get Lucky" in the live round, and Heart's "Barracuda" for survival, managing to beat Lewis, McLaughlin and Choice to find a place in the semifinals.

Team Usher: Kaufman is the only hope for Usher. His rendition of Bonnie Raitt's "I Can't Make You Love Me" last week was incredible. In fact, he is one of the most consistant singers this season.

Team Blake: Shelton is left with just a contestant after two - Lewis and McLaughlin - were eliminated last week. His lone survivor Worthington impressed everyone with his rendition of "Hillbilly Deluxe" by Brooks & Dunn last week, and he will be expected to repeat it tonight.

Team Shakira: Merlin sang "I Drive Your Truck" by Lee Brice last week. Her rendition of the song was not up to the mark but America saved her. She will be expected to belt out everything tonight, in a bid to enter next week's finals.
