Week 2 of "The Voice" US continued with the blind auditions as the four judges – Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams – batted for contestants to join their respective teams.

Interestingly, week two saw a number of singers who have had success vying for a place on the singing reality show.

Take for instance 21-year-old Tyler Dickerson. He was signed to a label even before he entered middle school, and his audition was proof that he knows a thing or two about performing.

Alex Kandel, 22, is another singer who has had professional success, having performed on "The Tonight Show" as well as "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon." She was also part of a band called "Sleeper Agent", which unfortunately disbanded last year, and now her aim is to make it as a solo artist.

Viktor Király, 31, is another artist with a success story. He is already a well-know pop singer in Budapest, Hungary, having won Hungary's version of American Idol in 2008.

Besides professional artists, the second week of blind auditions also featured two pairs auditioning for a spot on the show.

First up was country couple Jubal and Amanda. Their rendition of "Seven Bridges Road" got them a place on Team Pharrell, and the duo celebrated this by getting engaged on television.

Shortly after Blake enquired if they're married, and Amanda answered in the negative, Jubal decided to change that proposing to her on stage. And Amanda accepted.

The second duo performance was by identical twins Andi and Alex, who won a place on Team Adam after flooring the judge with their rendition of Dido's "Thank You."
