The battle rounds will continue in season 9 episode 9 of "The Voice" US, which has Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams as judges.

The episode can be watched live on NBC at 8 pm. ET. Those who cannot get to a television can check out a live stream of the Battle Rounds on NBC.com, provided the viewer has a subscription with a participating television provider. The episode can be watched online for free the next day on NBC.com.

So what happens in the ninth episode of the season? The promo shows the contestants continuing with the battle rounds as the judges decide on the contestants to be eliminated as well as those who can be stolen.

Last week's episode ended with each coach being left with one more steal. The first week of battle rounds also saw a fan favourite Manny Cabo, who received a four-chair turn, leaving the show after Levine picked Keith Semple. Sadly, none of the other coaches stole him.

Krista Hughes from Team Blake, too, was eliminated in the first week of battle rounds.

Team Adam - Dustin Christensen was stolen while Dustin Monk and Manny Cabo were eliminated

Team Blake: Ivonne Acero was stolen while Krista Hughes and Tyler Dickerson were eliminated

Team Gwen: Regina Love was stolen while Alex Kandel and Noah Jackson were eliminated

Team Pharrell: Tim Atlas was stolen, Celeste Betton and Sydney Rhame were eliminated

Things will spice up in next week's episode when Rihanna joins "The Voice" US as a key mentor. In addition to doling out advice on songs, the Bajan beauty will also give fashion tips to the contestants.

In a video released last week, RiRi, as she is popularly known, is seen kidding around with the judges as she plays with the swiveling chair. The judges as well as the contestants seem excited to meet her and work with her.

"The Voice" is aired Mondays and Tuesdays on NBC.
