"The Voice" USA Season 7 is all set to enter the most exciting stage of the show with the selected contestants going to the battle rounds next week. Coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams got two contestants each on Monday to fill their respective teams.
The 'Best of the Blind Auditions' episode will be telecast at 8:00 pm EST on NBC Television (6.30 am IST, Wednesday). Tuesday's episode will show unseen footage of blind auditions and also give a sneak peek of the battle round, which is starting next week.
The four coaches have 12 contestants each in their respective teams after the final audition on Monday. Team members will fight out in duets during the battle rounds as their coach can select only one and send the other home. The team advisors of the show are: Stevie Nicks for Team Adam, Gavin Rossdale for Team Gwen, Little Big Town for Team Blake and Alicia Keys for Team Pharrell.
Tuesday Episode Recap:
Team Adam: Matt McAndrew got Blake, Pharrell and Adam hit heir buttons with his rendition of Christina Perri's "A Thousand Years" but he chose Adam as his coach. Beth Spangler, who sang Beyonce's "Best Thing I Never Had", also picked Adam.
Team Pharrell: Brittany Butler and Griffin picked Pharrell. Butler sang Antonio Carlos Jobim's "The Girl from Ipanema", while Griffin sang ""It's A Beautiful Day" by Gwen in the audition.
Team Gwen: Ryan Sill, who sang "Secrets" by OneRepublic, and Mayra Alvarez, who rendered Michael Jackson's "Human Nature" picked Gwen Stefani.
Team Blake: Fernanda Bosch, who sang "I Try" by Macy Gray, chose Blake over Gwen. Blake filled his team by pressing his button for Justin Johnes who sang "Let Her Go" by Passenger.
However, Evan Watson, Erin Kim, Chandra Knudsen, Luke Niccoli, Nikki Rene, and Bradley McKee were sent home after failing to impress the coaches.
