Beyonce and Jay Z put up a united front at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, when the "Single Ladies" singer invited her husband and daughter, Blue Ivy, on stage while accepting the most prestigious award of the night -- the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.

Calling his wife the greatest living entertainer, Jay Z, who held their daughter in his arms, presented the award to Beyonce, while Blue Ivy said, "Yay, mommy!" The tiny tot managed to grab the attention of the camera during her mother's performance of "Drunk in Love" when she was spotted dancing and singing along with her mother.

Blue Ivy was seated in Jay Z's lap in the front row during her mother's sizzling performance.

Later, delivering her acceptance speech, Queen Bey said that she was happy and grateful for all the support from her fans and family. "I have nothing to say," Beyoncé said, "But I'm full of gratitude."

Ever since the "elevator incident" in May, where Solange Knowles was seen attacking Jay Z while Beyonce looked on, rumours of Beyonce and Jay Z calling it quits on their marriage had run rampant. It didn't help matters when Beyonce changed the lyrics of some of her songs during her "On the Run" performance to indicate that all's not well between the couple. This only reinforced speculations that the two will be breaking up once their "On the Run" tour ends in September.

However, by appearing together at the VMAs, the couple has put these rumours to rest.

Beyonce's mother Tina Knowles recently spoke to TMZ about these divorce rumours saying: "Haters going to be haters and there is nothing we can do about that," she said. "Everything is perfect. I just don't even read the bull you know?"

This comes close on the heels of another report claiming that Gwyneth Paltrow has been giving relationship advice to Beyonce, who is reportedly planning an amicable split from her rapper husband. Us Weekly recently reported that Paltrow has advised Beyonce to follow her "conscious uncoupling" method that the Goop founder used during her separation from Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.

"The day after the announcement, Bey and Jay will be spotted together," an insider told Us Weekly. "The two will be all lovey-dovey."
