The audio rights of Ajith's Vivegam have been sold to Sony Music. The music of the upcoming Tamil movie is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

Sony Music and the makers of Vivegam signed the deal a few days ago after a lot of negotiations. As per the buzz, the audio company shelled out over Rs 2 crore to acquire the music rights of Ajith's film.

Thala Ajith's stardom and a series of Anirudh Ravichander's successful albums were the major factors that the audio company considered before signing on the deal, say industry insiders.

The audio of Vivegam is expected to hit the stores in July. Before the formal launch, the makers are expected to give a glimpse of the album by releasing a few singles. The audio is likely to have four to five songs and the music director has taken special interest in composing the tracks as he is a fan of Ajith.

Anirudh is said to have come up with about 50 theme tracks for the film, and sought Ajith's suggestion while finalising the tune.
