The cast of Ajith's Vivegam is growing bigger and better. The latest celebrity to join the film is none other than Arav Chowdharry, a former Mr India who had played the role of Bhishma in Hindi television serial Mahabharat.
Announcing the news, Arav tweeted, "Filming for Tamil film Vivegham with Super Star Mr Ajith Kumar in Serbia . [sic]" The actor is a familiar face among the Kollywood audience as his Mahabharat was dubbed into Tamil on Vijay TV.
Reportedly, he will be seen in the negative role in the Tamil flick. It has to be noted that another Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi is enacting the role of the main antagonist. Thambi Ramaiah, Appukutty, Rajendran and many others are part of the cast. Kajal Aggarwal will be seen as Ajith's wife, while Akshara Haasan is the second female lead in the movie.
Meanwhile, the fans of Ajith are set to celebrate the actor's 46th birthday on May 1. It was earlier reported that the teaser from Vivegam will be released on the occasion, but the latest rumours say that a song teaser will be unveiled. The makers are yet to open up on the issue.
Vivegam marks the third union of Siruthai Siva with Ajith. They had earlier worked in hit films like Veeram. The film, which is bankrolled by Sathyajyothi Films, will hit the screens in August 2018.
Currently, the film unit is busy with the shooting in Europe. The team is expected to return in May first week.
