Just days after announcing Ajith's film title as "Arrambam", director Vishnu Vardhan has revealed some details about the most-awaited flick.

Talking about Ajith's role in the film Vishnu Vardhan said, "Ajith plays the central character with the characterization of a valiant warrior. Arya and Nayanthara play character that circle around Ajith."

"Ajith sir is on his popular salt and pepper get up of 'Mankaatha'. In fact i had requested Ajith sir to introduce that get up in my film only but Venkat prabhu overtook me and the rest was history," he added.

The director also revealed that the film will be more fast-paced than "Billa", a 2007-blockbuster film starring Ajith and Nayanthara.

"This is an action drama with a pacy and racy script. It will be much faster than our earlier film together Billa. This film will be an absolute entertainer, not only to Ajith Sir's fans but also to classes and masses alike," Vishnu said, according to Behindwoods.com.

After a long wait, the title of the Ajith starrer was officially announced last week. The title "Arrambam" received an overwhelming response on social media circles. Some stills of Ajith from the film were unveiled to the media on Tuesday (30 July). The actor looked terrific in those stills.

The film, deemed as an action entertainer, is in the making for the last one year. Fans of "Thala" (Ajith is popularly referred in this name), are waiting to see their star on screen. He was last seen palying a cameo role in Sridevi's "English Vinglish". He appeared in a full-fledged role in "Billa 2" released in 2012.

His upcoming film "Arrambam" is likely to get released in September and it will be his only release this year. He is also working on another project with "Siruthai" Siva.

The yet-to-be-titled film is confirmed for Pongal release next year. The film is expected to clash with Vijay's "Jilla", which might hit the theatres during the same period.
