Bangalore, Aug 10 (ANI): A rally of vintage cars was taken out in Bangalore by the Karnataka Vintage and Classic Car Club on Sunday to create awareness on, 'respect and safety for women. The rally covered around 5 kilometers in the city. Many women dignitaries like Indian classical danseuse Vani Ganapathy, Indian athlete Reeth Abraham, and Former Indian swimmer Nisha Millet, were present at the event. Grand old cars which were used by the Maharajas, industrialists and other noted celebrities of yesteryears were part of the drive, one of them belonging to the father of the first Indian Prime Minsiter, Jawaharlal Nehru. Lanchester, Hillman, Wolseley, Jaguars, Fords, Chevrolets, Austin's, Morris' etc, rallied in the City.
